Grand Etteilla Tarot card deck (Extra Large size)

This tarot deck is extra large! The cards measure 14 cm x 7 cm, making them larger than standard tarot decks (12.1 x 7 cm) and significantly larger than standard playing cards (8.9 x 6.3 cm). The cards are printed on high-quality 350 gsm coated cardstock, which ensures durability and a great feel. The cards are made in the USA.

The Grand Etteilla Tarot Deck was first produced in Paris in the 18th century by "Etteilla", aka Jean-Baptiste Alliette (August 28, 1738 – December 12, 1791). Etteilla was the first French occultist to make tarot divination widely known and the first professional tarot reader in history to earn a living by reading the cards. He published his ideas on the connections between tarot, astrology, the four classical elements, and the four bodily fluids, and was the first to create a tarot deck specifically designed for occult purposes.

This deck contains 78 cards: the standard 22 Major Arcana cards and 56 Minor Arcana cards with French names. The deck comes in a two-part box and instruction booklet.
