Bone china
Kaolin, feldspar and quartz normally used in porcelain clay are mixed with at least 35% bone ash. This creates the most durable of the existing types of porcelain and gives it a special ivory color. Thanks to its composition, bone china can be fired at a temperature of around 1250°C.
