The Course in Miracles (IOK) has been said to be one of the most important and revolutionary spiritual works of the 20th century. Almost every one of the world's most famous authors of spiritual books has quoted it in their writings. The work has spread in translations into 20 different languages with millions of copies worldwide. In Finnish, the Course in Miracles was published in 2003 and is now in its third edition.
The book sheds light on the origins and background figures of A Course in Miracles both in the United States and Finland through the newspaper articles of IOK's translator Pirkko Pelkonen. Additionally, based on Pirkko's lectures, it focuses on discussing various topics of IOK in plain Finnish: channeling, the birth of the world and the ego, life scripts, relationships, forgiveness, illness, prayer, psychotherapy, and healing. The book is suitable as a supplementary book for students and study groups of A Course in Miracles and is an excellent introduction for those just starting with IOK or interested in the subject.
