The book also tells about the therapeutic effect of the forest and trees on a person's mental well-being and mental health.

PhD Sinikka Piippo is a professor of botany at the University of Helsinki. He has written hundreds of scientific and popular articles and publications. Previous productions include e.g. the books Finnish berries, Vitality from spices, Clean food, Food for the mind and Wild vegetables.
