The Magical Calendar is one of the most amazing and comprehensive tables of celestial and magical correspondences ever published, and is one of the most important documents from the seventeenth-century renaissance of medieval occultism that focused around the Rosicrucian movement. Designed by Johannes Theodorus de Bry -- the master engraver who illustrated and published the works of Robert Fludd, Michael Maier, and others. The Magical Calendar is a beautifully illustrated synthesis of esoteric symbolism and universal correspondences, designed for the student and practitioner of Natural Magic. This remarkable, extensively illustrated work has been translated and edited by Adam McLean, who also provides an extensive commentary and explanation of the complex mass of symbolism. It is suggested that the source for many of these occult correspondences may be the Renaissance magus Johannes Trithemius.
